News: Accident shuts down SR-94 EB offramp near South Park

SAN DIEGO, CA — A collision early Tuesday blocked a California Highway 94 connector ramp near San Diego’s South Park neighborhood, according to Caltrans San Diego.

The crash happened on the Exit 2C ramp from SR-94 eastbound to the northbound lanes of SR-15/Interstate 15. It was first reported by Caltrans shortly before 12:30 a.m.

Officials have not provided details regarding the cause of the wreck or the vehicles involved, but the ramp remained closed for nearly an hour.


By 1:27 a.m., the scene had been cleared and the ramp was reopened to traffic.


No injuries have been confirmed at this time.
