SAN DIEGO CO., CA – Two people, including a child, were hit by a vehicle while riding their bicycles in Imperials Beach on Tuesday night.
According to Fox 5 San Diego, a woman and her child were riding in the area of 11th Street and Fern Avenue when they were hit by a Chevrolet pickup truck at about 8:15 p.m.
The woman was hospitalized in serious, but stable condition. The child was also taken to the hospital and was subsequently released.
The Chevrolet’s driver, a 78-year-old man, was arrested and booked into the San Diego Central Jail on suspicion of DUI.
