SAN DIEGO, CA – A 23-year-old motorcyclist went to the hospital Wednesday after colliding with a vehicle in Miramar, reports Fox 5 San Diego.
The incident happened around 3:40 p.m. in the area of 9600 Miramar Way, which is just east of the Miramar Memorial Golf Course.
The investigation thus far indicates that a westbound Yamaha motorcycle rear-ended a Tesla Model 3 when the driver of the latter vehicle slowed down for a stopped vehicle ahead of her.
The force of the collision threw the motorcyclist from his bike. Medics transported him to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
The 23-year-old female driver of the Tesla did not sustain injuries in the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
