SAN DIEGO, CA – Emergency crews were called to a multi-vehicle wreck involving a bus in the Golden Hill area on Wednesday morning, reports the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened around 7:45 a.m. on the westbound side of State Route 94 between 32nd Street and CA-15.
It’s still unclear how the accident occurred, but officials say it involved a small bus, a small sedan, and an unknown third vehicle. The collision caused the bus to start leaking oil.
Officials dispatched an ambulance to assess for injuries along with teams from the fire department to help attend to the oil spill.
The accident blocked several lanes along SR-94 as the investigation commenced.
